It's no longer on their webpage.
I wonder how much longer the Perseus will be around.

They replaced the Metis with the RP-1, which I just purchased a couple weeks ago. Full-function remote, dual variable outputs, MUCH better phono stage...and not a huge jump in price. Their reputation is safe.
I have had great customer experience with Rogue Purchased a Perseus from them, returned from review. They retubed it and set it up for me in consideration of power amp, phono cartridge, etc. Drives a vintage McIntish 240 and Maggies. I like these people
It looks like they are getting rid of their cheap stuff and concentrating on the expensive equipment. They have made a name for themselves so they don't have to bother with the lower end.....
They may also bring out new replacements for them - perhaps the sales have merely plateaued. Could be that certain parts are unavailable and they don't like the alternates. Could be loads of reasons.
One of the things I like about Rogue is that they offer good sound at prices people can actually afford. All these companies should be able to make excellent products when you throw lots of money at it. It's the less expensive stuff that requires some inventive design and parts sourcing/making and I generally like to hear what they can do with the entry level stuff. I think Rogue does it very very well - even though I am more of a SET guy than a PP guy I can still recognize when they offer a superior product to most of the things in the price class. And if it gets more people into the world of tubes - even if people move on to better - they do a commendable job of giving people possibly the first taste of tubes. And not made in China for the people who place that high on their list. What's not to like?
No, it doesn't look like that at all.
They still have a $1300 integrated.
Their introductory preamp is what, $1595?
I'm just surprised to see the Metis go. They often keep older units on, for example they still make the 99 preamp and that's been around forever.

And they recently came out with a Cronus Magnum II. So no, it doesn't appear they're abandoning the entry level market, thank goodness.
