how long ago did you repair your HCA-1500 ?
A connector off the big circuit board, and I called Parasound to ask about it before futzing around inside the amplifier. Tony gave me the info I needed quickly and courteously. I have a fondness for John Curl designed amplifiers.

Yes, the HCA series was special indeed.
I know a guy who uses an HCA of some sort. Sounded fine to me, and he likes it, too.If I could get one for a reasoable price, it'd be mine right now (assuming it's the model with more-than-adequate current, and plenty of output transistors, and...).
