no this particular horn is a 30 hz tapped horn but the output can touch 20 hz i intend to use the amp for other projects as well,i will set the crossover around 70 hz to 100hz with some time delay

By 'OTHER PROJECTS' you mean Bio Experiments with ULF? Or perhaps trying to change the local weather? Or maybe drive some neighbors NUTS with InfraSonics?
Or maybe you'll aim for the Schumann Frequency of about 7.8hz?
With enough amplitude at <10hz, I'm not certain that ear plugs will help.
Too much is never enough
You do know that tapped horns should only ever be used with a steep high pass filter.
Reason being that below the lower design frequency (in your case apparently 30Hz) cone excursion rises dramatically and can easily cause permanent damage to the driver even at moderate levels.
sure i agree ,but this is not even going to be played above 94db in my bedroom ,the x max of the driver is 11.5mm at 20v input, that's almost 112db at 30 hz,that will hurt me my wife and cats, neighbors ,house plants etc
as a diy er i just wanted to have a filter less system and maybe enjoy some opera and organ music on the weekends
if you are a fan of peter gabriel and sound tracks you should try
rabbit-proof fence
Since you are using the horn outside of its design parameters it will probably be of no support to the driver.
The max volume for a 6.5" driver with 11.5mm Xmax at 20Hz is around 90dBspl and 78dB at 10Hz without horn-loading.
