Anyone here happen to have experience interfacing a Manley Chinook / Shelter 501 II? Shelter doesn't specify capacitance at all, for one thing. It will be tricky if not impossible for me to get into a 'dynamic' switch-adjusting process the way my equipment is installed, so I'm reaching out.
Follow Ups:
Try the 133 ohm and 159 ohm options. As the impedance goes up it gets easier for the cartridge to drive and the tonal balance should settle.
You'll know when it's right for you and the room.

The Shelter 501II is a low-output moving coil and does not respond to capacitance loading. Just set the gain to 60-dB with load resistance to 100-ohms and it should be good to go. Leave the capacitance setting on its minimum value, but it probably won't make any difference.
Good luck,

OMG I used to know that, too.
Thanks!!!!
