Bought a PrimaLuna Dialog Premium integrated about six months ago and have enjoyed it immensly. Having fun trying different power and signal tubes.
I know it will readily self adjust amongst various power tubes including the 6l6GC but I quesstion if it would be happy with a 6l6GA as well?
Any thoughts appreciated

Thanks to all for the help and pointers. I have not tried changing out the power tubes yet but have been playing with the signal tubes:
RCA cleartop: flat and disappointing, this amp was obviously NOT voiced for this tube.
Raytheon CK5963 in the rear most slots (as suggested by an inmate); wow, very open and clear, excellent highs without sharpness and good bottom end; so far my fav.
I'll try the Tung-sol 5881's

I've been using Tung-Sol USA 5881 tubes, in a DIY SEUL build.
Buy 'em used on flea-bay, for the price of new production tubes.

I've tried KT88,EL34 and like the 6L6 sound. The PL can handle the KT 150. While I don't know specifics, the requirements are more taxing on the transformer than the 6L6 family?
Call the distributor, Kevin knows EXACTLY what the PL can handle.
Based on the manual, any 6L6 variant is okay.If the 350B wasn't unobtanium $$, I'd like to try a set.

Your amplifier will be happy; the 6L6GA will produce a spectacular light show before it immolates; you won't be happy.
6L6GA: max plate volts 360V, max plate dissipation 19W
6L6GC: max plate volts 500V, max plate dissipation 30W
Also try over at the tube forum.
