it's $8 for a reason.
this type of amp [don't know the brand] is not meant for quality at-home audio reproduction.

The Sonance 260 is a surprisingly good sounding amp, especially considering its pedigree.
It was designed and marketed for home theatre setups with inwall and inceiling speakers.
We gor in one of these modest little amps and hooked it up and I was shocked that it actually sounds good.
Now we try to stock at least one for someone who wants a quality modest output power amp at a low price (not $8 though!).
Don't disparage it until you hear one.
Sonance although primarily an inwall company has audiophile pretensions and actually produces many components which blow away name brands, even speaker wise
I prefer their in wall speakers over many so called brand names . Did a job once for a home whose owner had a separate room for his Wilson's. He was pretty upset that the HT set up initially sounded better than his Wilsons
