If the components looked 'glued together' or rather, held in place with silicone sealer (stuff you use around the bathtub) instead of secured in place with metal fasteners, that describes Blue Circle Audio out of Canada.
That's funny....Gilbert has a 10-13 month wait list....must be the sound versus satisfying the anal retentives who fester here. Abe I saw a speck of dust on your last system photo....better get in their and dust...

Maybe it takes that long for the HomeDepot silicone sealer to cure. ;-)
Come on, I'm not questioning how those products sound. I do have an issue with how they're built. But hey like I said, that's just my opinion. Maybe others think it's great.
This whole thread is just trollville...grow up..I just can't imagine what sick thrills you all must get disparaging a well reviewed and respected designer. Also, let's see your amps, the ones you designed and built...yep...crickets...
with the bitter attitude.
yes, i would stay away from poorly put together products - isn't reliability an issue in any product in any hobby? also, it's a cheapness that shouldn't be in a high-end product like Blue Circle.
in U.S. baseball analogy, that's two strikes against such manufacturers.

I didn't start this thread... I replied to the O.P. with factual information and photos.
I don't get paid to design and build amps. Gilbert does, as do so many other designers who are worthy of my hard earned dollars.
It would seem we have found the troll and it is you, greyman. Try some of Blue Circle's silicon on your keyboard.
That's even funnier, Trouser Smelt...
I agree the work looks pretty shoddy to me, more like something from a DIYer.
A DIY prototype maybe.
