I'm thinking of getting the optional cover for my Cronus Magnum. Does anybody else have one? I read somewhere that it is to be used when the amp in not in use. I was wondering if this is true because I wanted to leave it on all the time. Isn't there enough ventilation in the cover to allow for that? Thanks

I assumed you mean you want to leave the cover on the amp all the time, not that you want to leave the amp powered on all the time.
Sounds like the answer is yes, despite some confusion below?

Yes, when I said I wanted to leave "it" on all the time, I was referring to the tube cage, not the amp.
The pic posted of the cage looks great. That said, I have to agree with those who have advised NOT to leave your tube amp on when you leave the house. A waste of energy and tubes plus there is no sonic benefit whatsoever. More importantly, if a tube were to fail, you'd best be on site to shut the amp down.....especially if you like your "site". In my experience, tubes amps are up to speed and sounding very good within 20-30 minutes.
2000 hours on those tubes. At 24 hours a day that's 83 days. You want to re-tube your amp every three months?
And I would never leave a piece of tube gear on when I wasn't in the house - it's not safe.
I like the tube cage, looks nice, keeps my cats off the tubes and is ridiculously low priced. If this was ARC selling this cage they'd want $500 for it, not $150.

That looks great! I think I'll get one. Of course, I would never leave a tube amp turned on when not in use. What I had read in a dealer ad gave the impression that the tube cage was to be used when the amp was not in use, which really doesn't make sense as the cage has screw holes in the side and is meant to be attached.
Does that tube cage clear KT120 power tubes? Is that what you're running? I kinda like the looks of the cage. Very clean looking.
I'm running KT120's, the tube cage works fine.
I have the idea (not sure) that the original EL34 Atlas tube cage might not have fit KT120's, but the one they have now obviously does.
I tried some EL34's once, they were nice, but I strongly prefer the KT120's.
I'm tempted to try some KT66's sometime.

I don't have a cover for mine but.....You can try contacting Rogue with your brief question. They're usually very responsive, typically answering within a day unless they're on the road for a trade show.

If you're using the KT120 power tubes, or possibly plan to one day because they're incredible sounding(!), you'll want to also ask if the cover is tall enough to clear the KT120 tubes. They're taller than the EL34, KT90, and many other power tubes.
As Erocka2000 mentioned, you shouldn't leave tube amps ON for extended periods if you're not listening to it. It puts unnecessary wear on the tubes.

You shouldn't leave a tube amp on all the time. It's not good for the tubes.
