one amp per speaker. I think I will get them upgraded. What should I ask the technician to do. There is a local store where I live, but I would like to know what parts need upgraded.

I would try and find a dealer or repair person that does this regularly. As to capacitor brands there are many and the prices vary widely. I think the most important thing for you is to find a good trustworthy repair person and rely on his recommendations. Maybe you should say where you are and ask if anyone knows of someone in that area. Good luck!

is there a capacitor brand/model that would be better, or recommended for the amp?
