Sure you can attach an external headphone amp to the Cronus Magnum but it has it's own headphone amp. Do you not like it?
Personally, I would use a totally separate headphone setup completely independent of the Cronus Magnum. I don't like the idea of having all those vacuum tubes powered ON including the KT120 power tubes just to listen through a pair of cans.
To me, that sounds a bit wasteful but that's just my feeling on it.

I built a Bottlehead Crack that I am now addicted to, so it is a requirement for me. I'm looking at the Cronus vs the Tempest. I saw the fixed and variable out on the back of the Cronus and wondered if I could use the fixed output for the Crack. I've seen that the Tempest has a tape loop.
If you have a volume control on your headphone amp you should be able to use the fixed output on the Rogue amp. If you don't have a volume control then you would need to use the variable output on the Rogue!
Yep, sure do. Looks like I'm golden. Thanks!
Groovy man groovy!
