I posted this yesterday on the vintage asylum.
It's based on the venerable Scott 299D;
1) Point to Point wired.
2) 4 KT88's.
3) Tube rectified.
4) Remote control.
5) Good headphone section.
And it's beautiful!
If it's as good as their tables, then VPI has a winner.
I haven't heard it yet, but I want to.

Follow Ups:
This is an American company located in NJ. And yet, on their FAQ page using the link under "HOW DOES VPI TEST THEIR TURNTABLES?" causes YouTube to display the fact that SME has blocked - for American users!! - the playing of the video that explains the VPI testing process.
Apparently VPI's webmaster is a clueless dingbat...

Wow, I had no idea that VPI made an amp. Thanks for posting.
Is it manufactured in USA by VPI, or outsourced and made elsewhere for VPI?
Does it have a Remote Control?
Any idea how it's priced?
Abe;
I believe it is priced around $4000, and yes it does have a remote control.
I do not know where it is manufactured however.
I have linked one of Peter's videos.
