With or without gold pins! There really are no subs for the "super tube". I bought a backup quad for my SP20 of the gold pin variety.
Unless, of course you can convince Mr. Khomenko to find some from his special NOS stash of the special military "Doomsday machine" DR type. :)

Actually, it was Victor who revealed the secret to us!
How cool is it to have an engineer here who worked at the Svetlana factory in St. Pete along with other family members?
CJ CT-5 uses this tube...I have been wanting a slightly warmer tube...I have stock CJ Sovtek's I believe...
Are the EH's warmer sounding by chance?
I have not emailed Victor about his stash of the DR's...crazy stupid pricing on Ebay and Agon for DR's...$400 for a pair...
I like the tube life of these tubes...current set has over 6000 hrs on them...
Thanks
Mark
I am a recent convert to a 6H30 equipped preamp. I think my tubes have about 200 hours on them!
What is everyone's opinion so far of the 6H30 versus, say, the 6922?
