Wow, thanks for the detailed response. That's pretty high praise for both the DNA-125 and the Quicksilvers. I would hesitate to try these on my Thiel CS2.4 speakers but now that I'm in a small home office listening room with more efficient Tannoys it's a possibility.
As an aside, I haven't owned VTL either but Manley Labs has always been very responsive and helpful. I know they're not the same company but in contrast to your VTL experience I'd say Manley Labs is the polar opposite. I had some bad EL34 tubes that blew a few cathode resistors. Paul in their service department sent me a batch of replacements parts (free) and walked me through the repairs over the phone. I'm handy with a soldering iron and meter but it was nice to have Paul's guidance. Not having to ship two 70-Lb monoblocks in for repair was the real benefit!
Thanks again for your comments on the DNA-125 and Mid Monos.

Abe- I have read lately that many are using CJ electronics on Thiel speakers- the DNA-125 will be a great match for your CS 2.4 models.
Keep me posted on which amp you buy for those speakers.
Oh, I'm not really in the market for new amps right now but when I get my basement finished with a decent sized listening room again, I'll be able use the Thiel speakers again. That's a ways out as we have more pressing home projects in the queue.
I hear that Abe-
it is hard to believe that my 1st impression w/ the CS 2.4 speakers were w/ a Creek intrgrated amp and the NAD 565 cd player. Even though the little Creek was under-powered, still, I heard a richness like no other loudspeaker. That day I knew this was my reference speaker.
