I've been working with a parts kit, purchased from Jim McShane, that I'm using to rebuild my Scott LK72b. This is probably old news to many, but his rebuild kits are excellent. Very good quality parts, very fair prices, very complete, and Jim is extremely knowledgeable and helpful... a combination that is nice to find. He separates the parts by amp stage, which is a nice touch. He seems to be largely known for his expertise with Citation equipment, but he's a good resource for other tube equipment as well if you're trying to find good parts, tubes, or a full restoration. I highly recommend this guy. You can find his website at mcshanedesign.net

I bought a quartet of EL84s for my RM10 from Jim a couple of years ago. He was patient and diligent in getting me the best ones for the job, steering me away from more expensive reissues(i.e. probably with higher margins)A class act
I bought a few small signal tubes from Jim years ago and his expertise steered me in the right direction for my preamp.
Most of my new (not NOS) power tube purchases have come from the other usual online tube stores.
Jim has been my "go to" tube guy for years. He's always offered a wealth of great advice on which tubes will best help me reach my goals. His prices are very reasonable, too.
everyone says so but another positive post is good.
