I have a naim 5i-2 intergrated.. A lot of post say I should use the naim CD player with it to get the best sound? I have it paired with a jaton operetta CD player ($3000) via rca jacks. The sound is simply increadable. I used to have a primaluna p2 which was nice but this just sounds so much more "real" with the naim. My question is their other folks out there using this amp with a different CD player with great results. I know my CD player is not really known I came across it only because my friend writes for a online stereo review, and he reviewed it and it is just simply amazing how good this player is. His review never made it to print don't know why (he doesn't know either). Lol. Oh well. My cabling is tellurium q black.

I would like to read your friend's review of the Jaton cd player, earnie3.
I don't know If he would release it to me. I posted a few months back I was so happy to receive this player and I am so happy with it. It is smooth detailed just sound so nice. This is how a CD player should be built and sound. Also does flac files
Mundorf caps to boot ......
Beautiful pic! A.Wayne
that is the player. I love it
I would take full advantage of using the DIN connector option for your Naim.
Who do you recommend for a din to rca or xlr connector.
Chord Company. Plus, Naim is releasing a new cable next month!
but if you like the sound now, just leave the system as it is! :)
