Hi,Can anyone compare the TRL dude and the Vac Signature with other usual suspects like Lamm, VTL, Jadis, or ARC? I am not familiar with the first two, and wanted to know if they were more neutral, sweeter like the Jadis, had more bass control, or more dynamics for orchestra? Also if you heard the Dude was it one with the Duelunds?
Thanks
Kedar

I would love to do an extensive throw-down w/ LAMM, VTL & VAC!
My friend has a Dude, it is vastly better than his prior solid state Coda he was using. The Dude was twice the money though.
IMO, The Dude is very musical, it engages you in the music without making any certain aspect stand out, although the highs are smooth and it does have good bass, excellent mids. The only other gear you mentioned I have heard is ARC. I liked the Dude much better, feeling it provides better tonal textures and leaning to the warm side from ARC. The best ARC I've heard was one of the Ref preamps that cost around $10k at the time. So the Dude would be a good value to me. Not sure about the dueluinds but I will ask about that.
