Have you used Transparent in the past?
If so, which model(s) did you use in your system?
Ultra Xl and Reference XL and Ultra MM2 cables. Traded my Ultra MM2's in for the Gen 5's. I have used their Reference MM PC's before but went with the current MM2 PC's and Duplex Power conditioner for my amp and CD player. Used a lot of MIT Oracle and Matrix cabling as well over the years. The MIT stuff just seems to play around with the signal a little too much for me...overemphasizing and or de-emphasizing certain frequencies. Also throws things more upfront at times. The Transparent Cables seem to give me the most realistic portrayal of my music.

Very nice dave.
did you consider the OPUS series from Transparent?
My system would not be worthy of Opus. Reference Gen 5 get's me pretty close however. If I still had my pre-tech crash money and some Wilson Sasha's driven by ARC Reference gear then Opus would definitely be my choice!

What is the other gear in your system?
I have heard the OPUS cables/cords in (3) different systems;
All Ayre- preamp, power amp & CD spinner, Vandersteen speakers.
All ARC- Ref3 preamp, CD9 & Ref 150 power amp, Wilson Sasha & Sophia speakers.
ARC Ref5 SE preamp, CD9 & Bryston 3B ST power amp, Wilson Sasha & Sophia speakers.
I enjoyed the last system the best.
I cannot await to demo the new Wilson Sabrina loudspeaker- I will bet it is a real "sleeper"!
I will have to check it out....wish I was going to Las Vegas!!

Keep me posted as you break-in those cables!
