Well, he hasn't "responded" to my postings about a Cayin TA-30 and the Prologue One, but if he does and sounds open to investing a bit more (which would likely be worth it) I'll send him your way!His original post mentioned a NAD BEE integrated and a budget of $600 to power some Klipsch RB 61 II bookshelf speakers ... ah hell, here's a link, hope it's OK to mention other forums in this one (as I did in that one).
Seems to me that the PrimaLuna (One or Two or whatever) would possibly be a very good match to 'tame' the RB 61s a little and still be plenty of power, AND be possibly better sounding than other choices ... plus be more user friendly than the Cayin for first-time tube amp users.

Yeah, read the link. Doesn't seem he will stray from his budget. He might be expecting way more performance than what $600 will buy?
I don't really know, but think he's looking for a good match with his present speakers for $600. I have no idea if the NAD will be a match, I haven't heard NAD equipment nor read any reviews.
I do think he needs a 'mellower' sounding amp, so thought of the Marantz integrated (which may be somewhat mellow? but maybe not enough) and tubes.
I would venture that a ProLogue One may fit the bill, in sonics and maybe price, but wouldn't have any tone controls for him to play with.
I made my suggestions (to him) and can only wish him the best of luck ...
