But there are SO MANY home theater processors/amplifiers on the market now, used, that you should have no trouble finding one.

I know and agree. Just hate to have to shelf a perfectly good working intergrated amp if I didn't need to, was hoping I could just add to it and solve my problem, better hearing of dialog in some of today's movie tracks. Really not about the money, just hate to waste what I currently have but it might be my only choice.
DON'T ditch the nice two-channel amp as it appears to be a well-made unit that probably sounds good as well for two-channel listening. As I suggested, find a multichannel amp for cheap and hook it up to your TV. Use the two-channel for music.
