I have bat audio vk60se monoblock tube amps. 120 watts per amp. Each amp takes 4 big driver tubes and 6 of the 6sn7 signal tubes. One of the signal tubes is damaged. Can I still safely run the amp? The amp still turns on and operates. What effect does this have and can I still operate the amp pending arrival of replacement tube. Thank you. Gsb
Follow Ups:
you know its damaged n what is the damage?
Then it may be OK to leave the tube out of the circuit.
With such an expensive amplifier, I suggest you rush order some new tubes right away.
how can he just leave it out ?, does this amp have extra 6SN7s just sitting there for the looks?
It is good practice to maintain a spare set of tubes if one has a tube based product in their main rig-
I would not run the unit w/o all tubes installed.

Would you drive your car with only three tires?
Depends where I was going...
give us a good three tire scenario. Did you ever watch Bush Mechanics?
