my mono cart is a dl-102 which can run mono to both left and right, which then goes to phon then pre then amp. here is what i want to do from there.
using speakers which have seperate posts for mids and bass, can i run the left channel to the bass and right channel to the mids? it will all be same signal ans it originates as mono, etc ...
Can i do this?

It's called vertical biamping, and yes you can do it.

To get the max benefit, you want to roll off the bass to the mid/hi section. You can do this by decreasing the value of the input coupling cap to the amplifiers input. It helps to have a scope and signal generator.
