I have the Rogue and love it. After 4.5 years I have no desire to change amps. The phono stage is just serviceable, I would go with an outboard unit.
I noticed the specs on your speaker say it's sensitivity is only 76db? If that's right, it's going to be a tough load for a tube amp to drive.
What amp do you have now?

I think those specs on the L166 are misleading. I'm not sure how JBL did their measuring, but they are more like 89 or 90db sensitive. I have vintage Yamaha CA1000 right now. Excellent phono section BTW and it drive the JBLs fine.
I thought that number looked way too low on the JBL's. You are good to go on the Rogue CM. My Vapor Breeze are 87db and the Rogue can drive them loud w no problem.
Like your thinking on American made iron from Rogue. Hope you go with one. Great company.
