I looked at the transformer in their 250W X2 'deal'.
If the amplifier circuit can drive rail-to-rail, the amp MIGHT be able to put out 100W/8R x2, MAYBE.
Buy one and let us know.
Be sure and use a heatsink.
At the +- 60v rating that's 224 watts at 8 ohms. +-50v gets 150 watts.
I'll have to see if I feel like that kind of project.
Their wattage ratings are based on a fully regulated supply, and assume they can swing rail-to-rail.
The 250W x2 (500 x1) kit comes with a 30.9-0-30.9 288VA transformer. There is no way it will do more than 100W/8R.
Ya that's only 55 watts. The module specs say up to +-60V.
