Does anyone have a schematic or a service manual for a Precision Fidelity C7a that they could send me. Mine toasted a resistor in the power supply (R51)to the point where the color code is history. So apparently it at least needs new caps in the power supply. There is still sound in both channels from the phono input (as the high level is passive) but with a moderate hum present at all times. Thanks in advance for any responses.

I would imagine that you can find something with Google. I remember seeing a schematic for it in the '80s before the internet was invented. One of the first commercial designs to use a cascoded input stage and quite a good sounding piece.
If you can't find anything, try asking at diyAudio.com. You'll have better luck at a place like that.
Charles,
The first place I tried was Google. The listed info was minimal and the only schematic listed was for the Phono Section and naturally I need the power supply schematic. I will try at DIY and as you mentioned it is quite a nice sounding preamp (but in my opinion anyway of mediocre quality construction). Also I just received an email from one of the posters here who has offered me the power supply info so I may be OK. Thanks for your suggestions.
Regards, Jerry
