Or so the reputation seems to be. But I assume it does well on delicate acoustic music as well(?)
How do you think it'll match with Vienna Acoustics Beethoven? (4 ohms, decent sensitivity, and slightly on the warm side). If it matters, I listen to 60% vinyl/40% CDs.
I didn't like the sound of the Naim 5i but you need to listen to this with your equipment to make your own decision.
Good luck
I can’t speak for how the 5i would drive your Viennas—though it plays a lot more powerful than 50W, it is, after all, only 50W—I have mine mated to a pair of Definitive Technology STSs, and it drives them just fine. Of course, the STSs have powered woofers, and that takes a huge load off the Naim, but still, the 5i sounds great on all types of music: weighty, detailed, and very fast. I personally don’t find it flat or uninvolving at all. In fact, I think it’s quite dimensional and lively sounding. As for whether it can do acoustic music or not—yes, I think it does it very well.
I have to say, I picked up the Naim on a friend’s recommendation, and I’m glad I did. It’s a lot quirkier than my old Dussun V8i, but I do like it better. It’s a great match for my admittedly very efficient Def Techs, but, honestly, I’d like to hear it first on less efficient speakers before I committed.
Let me preface my statements with the fact that I own and love the Naim CD5X. I have heard all of the current production Naim integrated amps available in the States and really dislike them. To me, they sound flat and uninvolving. If you want a full bodied and natural mid range look elsewhere.

A Naim amp only does rock is a myth. I was surprised to find out myself.
Actually, they do rather well on acoustic music because of their excellent micro dynamics.
