I use the Grounded Grid with a Welborne Labs V.35, a Dynaco ST 70 clone that Welborne used to make in the late 90s.

Its a good preamp and I'm very happy with it. The assembly instructions are simple and straightforward. There are many happy users, and a visit to the message board at Transcendent Sound will give you a lot more info about it.
