What would be the best OPT for a 12b4a in a single-ended line stage? LL1660? The 12b4 has a mu of 6.5, a plate resistance of 1030 ohms and the plate current is around 30ma. If anyone has tried 12b4 in a OPT line stage I’d love to know how they went about it and what they thought of it.
Thanks

Follow Ups:
I'd be tempted to try the 12B4 with an LL1660/18mA or /25mA connected for 2.25:1. This will give you essentially 0dB gain and avout 250 ohms output impedance.

He has a nice 12B4 linestage he built. Pretty cool, sounds good too. Finding quiet 12B4s can be tricky though.
Thanks for getting me started. I’ll see if I can get in touch with Gary Kaufmann and try to find two good tubes.
