From the specs, CS8416 can accept 24/192K signal. (but not 8414). So if you have some 24/192 upsampling equipment, it is possible to accept 192K signal before feeding this DAC.Also I am thinking about DVD-A signal. (potential 24/192) but they should be protected to send out raw 192K signal ??? My knowledge on this area is limited.

Theoretically yes but we have not tested a 192K signal yet.

I haven't got there yet. We are focusing first on Red Book CD and refining the output stage right now.
