  I'd suggest the following upgrade path (in chronological order)

  Add XO3 to MM4
  Add XO supply to MM4
  Add XO DAC to external DAC
  Add XO supply to external DAC
  Configure for TENTlink

  Take time to evaluate each step, it gives a lot of insight.

  Let me or Brian know if questions remain. By the way, MM has quite a decent clock already in place, nevertheless progrees can be made.

    Is there any information available about the Tentlink yet?
    I have installed the XO-3 in my Esoteric P-10 transport and I'm very pleased with the results. I also have built your DAC, so the Tentlink is the next logical step.

    Thanks for your advice Guido. I have built two valve amps and two valve preamps but never anything digital so is the XO3 likely to be within my abilities ie are the instructions in words of one syllable or less? Thanks, tim

      I am quite sure you'll find your way through. Level of difficulties depend on the models of players one has to work in (TEAC VRDS9 is a nightmare, the 8 is no problem, just to show the contrast)
