NEW AUCTION: Record Research Labs Shine Ola!
Posted by Bill Leebens on February 26, 2005 at 07:03:45:
Hi, All!
This is NOT your father's "Shinola"!
Thanks yet again to the generosity of Brian Weitzel of Record Research Lab, we are able to offer a supply of Record Research Lab's "Shine Ola" as part of the Audio Asylum Asian Tsunami Victim Support Auction.
"Shine Ola" is a CD/DVD/SACD cleaner designed to gently remove the waste molecules generated by the pressing process, as well as the oils and detritus which accumulate from normal handling of discs.
It is NOT a disc-treatment but a micro-refined, pure cleaner which will allow the disc to be read PROPERLY, and prevent laser-wandering and subsequent triggering of the player's read-error correction process.Shine Ola will NOT break down a disc's polymers. It does NOT contain automotive waxes or that sticky gunk you spray on your tires. It does NOT contain petroleum distillates.
Just spray Shine Ola on the disc with the fine-mist sprayer, then wipe center-to-edge with the 3M Micro-Fiber cloth, which is provided, and which will NEVER scratch your discs.
VOILA! You may find that those add-on boxes are not needed, after all.
This auction is for two bottles of Shine Ola, which will treat LOTS of discs, and can be yours if you are the winning bidder. Brian has chosen Worldvision to be the recipient of the proceeds.
Thanks so much for your interest and attention. Please participate in this auction-a GREAT product and a GREAT cause!
