NEW AUCTION: Bruce Swedien autobiography!

Posted by Bill Leebens on February 25, 2005 at 16:51:08:

Hi, All!

Thanks again to the generosity of John Marks, we are able to offer a copy of recording-engineer Bruce Swedien's autobiography, "Make Mine Music", as part of the Audio Asylum Asian Tsunami Victim Support Auction.

Swedien may be best known for recording Michael Jackson's "Thriller", but he had a long history recording artists like Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson and Sarah Vaughn before that. There are lots of personal and musical anecdotes as well as technical info in this book, which should be of interest to any music-lover or audiophile.

An interesting read can be yours if you're the highest bidder! John has chosen Wateraid to be the recipient of the proceeds.

Ole Lund Christensen and Bill Leebens, organizers.
