NEW AUCTION: Listener magazines from Art Dudley!

Posted by Bill Leebens on February 12, 2005 at 07:23:31:

Hi, All!

Thanks to the generosity of affable Art Dudley, we are able to offer a collection of LISTENER magazines as part of the Audio Asylum Asian Tsunami Victim Support Auction.

You may know Art from his "Listening" column in Stereophile now, but a few years back, Artie edited/published/designed a magical little magazine that emphasized the joy of music and sound. Sort of like a cross between the Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Ulysses and Spy magazine,Listener had an uncommon sense of humor. If you're an Audio Critic kinda guy, leave these to someone who'll appreciate 'em. Really.

This collection has 31 of the 36 issues, missing Spring '97, M/J '00, J/A '00, M/J '01 and J/A '01. Art will autograph issue #1 if the buyer wishes.

These wonderful mags can be yours if you're the winning bidder. Art has left the choice of charity up to the buyer. PLEASE participate in this auction--GREAT mags and a GREAT cause of your choice!

Ole Lund Christensen and Bill Leebens, organizers.
