Vacuum Tube Valley Southern California Audio Festival November 2005

Posted by triode@vacuumtube.com on May 5, 2005 at 08:59:00:

Hello

Vacuum Tube Valley has scheduled a Southern California Audio Festival in November of 2005. This intention of this event is to build a stronger audio community, eliminate the SNOB Factor in audio shows by keeping attendance FREE and vendor costs the lowest yet, a great opportunity to network with audio friends and associates and to see, tryout, display, demostrate and sell your products. All the audio press will be invited. Here are some particulars:

1. The event is FREE, open to the public. No admission fee.
2. Display rooms will be a low fee of $300 for a 3 day weekend. The displayer/vendor must pay all their room costs. Vendors will be able to sell product to customers on site. No Sales Restrictions.
3. There will be a small vendor table area for sellers of vintage gear, LPs, CDs, parts, tubes, accessories. Fee is $100/day

This event will be held at a medium line hotel in the LA Basin near airports and major shopping. It will be promoted in local, regional and national media including television.

This is an alternative show to the $8000 fees that Stereophile charges for their shows. It will be held in Los Angeles, the music and audio capitol of the world. We expect thousands of attendees. If there is enough interest, we will hold a one day VTV Tube School for an additional fee.

We will be posting this message on all BB, advertising it on other websites, etc. This event will be a huge amount of fun, with lots of recording and pro audio people attending, famous musicians and hollywood celebrities.

Note: exact location will be at a medium-priced hotel to be announced in a few weeks.
