Boy has shopping for used vinyl in my neck of the woods changed...

25 years ago: Store was huge with massive, disorganized inventory. Store was usually empty. Prices were good. Unkempt guy at counter was approachable and liked to talk music. Usually walked out with 3-5 great finds. A week later...more finds were to be had.

Today: Store is small with limited inventory. Displayed and priced like jewellery. Usually a few hipsters around with an album or two under their arms. Unkempt guy at the counter has his face buried in a computer and seems aloof. I leave empty handed and don't return.
