Hi StevieRay,

Just for the record, we don't recommend using a separate vacuum pickup tube for each cleaning step, and we never have. We have a number of customers who do use a separate pickup tube for each step and they think that works best for them, which is what it's all about.

We do recommend using a separate brush for each step, primarily to eliminate the possiblity of mixing one formula with another. The formulas are separate for good reason and a brush that is wet with one and then used with another will result in mixing of the formulas.
