Lately, I have read a fair amount about different "time-coherent" designs (Meadowlark, Thiel, B&W), but have not given them any serious listening. What sound characteristics does this design lend to seakers in which it is used? I understand the BASIC technical explainations for the use of time-coherent layouts but would like to know how succesfull they are with MUSIC. If I can afford a good time-coherent speaker, will it outperform a comparable one of "standard" baffle design? To what extent do people hear time coherence/incoherence? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
