I love to ride and like no windscreen or a very small one. Bumble bees are hell too. Gravel as mentioned can be deadly. I'm pretty much doing full face helmets these days with the rare no helmet ride (w/good eye wear)in states that allow it. Good full face helmets have great venting these days.
