Hey, the right lawyer will accept money and file papers for anything regardless of how ridiculous or obvious.
The job requirements for some were considered too dangerous (ie a professional liar) to allow them to serve in government for quite a while too.
Now the wealthiest of them run the place so we have come full circle perfecting the system that originally bared them.
