An interesting discussion, even for someone who thinks just dusting a turntable is an advanced practice. Nice to have some information about different paths to lower distortion, although it's a refinement at a level of sophistication I have yet to apply. Or even aspire to, given the difficulty of getting a basic adjustment done correctly.
In truth, I had forgotten, or never was aware of , much of what you had presented, it's been a while since information of this type was being kicked around. Nice to hear a report from the front, so that guys like me might move forward more easily, with understanding, when the lightbulb comes on.
I had a hard enough time getting things aligned once, experiments are a very remote possibility,
Not as remote as me going into space, but close.

- You can also move null-points without altering effective length or mounting distance by changing offset angle. /nt\ - John Elison 16:50:53 05/1/11 ( 0)
