which was my primary cartridge for a few years, the reason being its lush midrange reproduction. Vocals sounded natural with no sibilance or harshness even on sub-optimal recordings. My vinyl front end was relatively modest at the time, but my level of satisfaction with my vinyl gear at that time (at least my memory of it) is the same as it is now with pricier gear.
By the way, did you do your review with the P-mount retaining screw off? Perhaps it might have influenced some of its performance impressions. I seem to remember reading about its importance in the overall performance of the P-mount cartridge.
