But seriously what do I do with this Cardas wire. Where should I try it and what should I be listening for?

And I gotta tell you, my ears are not a test instrument. I have just as much a bias against boutique wire any many do for it. So the ear / brain in both cases is flawed.

I need to measure something that can be quantified and repeated. And along those line we must remember we are testing in the audio band. If the Cardas wire measured better at 5mhz than brand X, that's not a factor in the audio band as long as both wires perform well at say 50khz.
