I posted this holler for help on the Amp-Preamp forum, but it may be more appropriate here.

I use a TVC preamp with only one input, so I made up a source switching box from using the chassis of an old, long dead preamp, an Elna switch and some rca plugs.

The output of the switch box goes through a pair of half-meter (or less) interconnects to the TVC.

My question is, the wire I used in the switch box is not all the same, what would be the concensus on the best possible internal wire to use for the switch box.

I have looked at Cardas litz hook up wire, but it is a bitch to solder without a solder pot, which I don't have. There are also several exotic hookup wires available from Michael Percy.

Anybody have a preference?
