cics' suggestions for USB DACs seem to clearly not be addressing asynchronous USB DACs - some are unnecessary for async, particularly the one he cites as the most effective tweak. I suspect that the list is from 3-4 years ago, before most asynchronous DACs came to market.

Speaking of which, is there a known status to a) the cmp2 project and b) cics' involvement, as there apparently has been no formal activity since over a year ago... but perhaps I missed something.
