I have been a tremendous fan of Knopfler since his days with Dire Straits. I am anxiously awaiting the vinyl release of "Roadrunning" If you haven't heard Shanri-La; Golden Heart; or Sailing to Philadelphia, you are in for a treat. All three disc are reference quality. I never tire of hearing these discs and often reach for them when I want to remind myself what my system is capable of. The songs are well crafted and superbly executed. They are timeless masterpieces which do not reflect the sound of the day. Also, the discs are always varied in style so they remain interesting throughout.
