Planar Speaker Asylum

I finally now have a room large enough to accommodate my Tympani's - 22' x 24' with a 10' ceiling. I don't currently have a SS amp, nor do I have the $2,800 for the ML 23.5 I used to have. Any suggestions for an adequate amp less than $1,000 to suffice for the moment? I'm considering an Adcom 5802, though I have no Mosfet experience. It does fit the power/price requirements.
I'm dyin to hear that wall of sound again :-) I'm thinking of the last song I heard on them 5 years ago - It was a 45 of Blue Jean Blues by ZZ Top, volume on 9 1/2, jaw on the floor and I think I smelled fried chicken and gasoline...
