not bad for a 8in in BLH. You think anyone would want to DIY a 4 1/2in driver K? I pretty much hand built the mini Ks so I was able to try quite a few options before I got the right sound. I built them with my 6 year old son at the time for kicks. But I never drew up a plan as such and would have to revisit it so to speak. Why not a fe206e k? Might be worth a shot or have you been there already? 1 thing that helped with the small k is use 1/2 birch ply and 1/4in baltic k slot. I soaked mine in a shellac mix. Then coated sanded many more times till sound was right. Try it.
