Nice review, james. Welcome to the Maggie family as it were, as there is a someone religious enthusiasm that comes with Maggies.
I also agree with you that once you commit to owning Maggies, you may have a long road of potential upgrades before you can get the most out of them. The initial money one spends on the speakers is much less than for box speakers, but the Maggies may get you down the road when you find it necessary to upgrade components, cables, etc.
Still, nothing really compares to the Maggie sound for those of us who believe....
