I have an LS400, but it isn't gold bodied. It is a mid-line white plastic bodied model. Not bad, but not for me. I do have a DR500 which is a gold bodied metal one. It is an upscale line contact from the Digital Research Series. It has little in common with the Lab Series other than the name
