"lean, fast and analytical"??? ...

I really couldn't say, sorry. All I do know that the combo of non-standard LP12, G2.2 and both Benz LP & Grado RR1, through hot-rodded, active Maggies ... makes beautiful music. :-))
Of the many people who have heard my system over the years, not one has said "too lean" or "too analytical".
Regards,
Andy
PS: Re. kuma's suggestion of a DV507 ... I had a DV505 on my LP12 for over 20 years (sold by the Linn dealer when I bought my LP12, as he considered it to be better than any Linn arm of that day). Great sounding arm but:
* at the upper limit of weight, IMO, for an LP12. Yes, the armboard spring coped ... but I would not use a DV507 if it is heavier than the DV505 (which is almost a pound heavier than the G2.2.
* it has zero azimuth adjustment, and primitive VTA adjustment ... which I eventually got sick of. :-))
