Nothing against the OP. But he already posted this same idea on AK on the 20th (I believe) with the addition of adding that so many folks state they found em for $10-50 often and thought the asking was high considering.

Again, no offense to OP or anyone bargain hunting. I sure as hell do. But just because I found some JBL mint L65s locally for $50 doesnt mean they "should" sell for that much. Its a market value thing. And nearly anyone selling anything often tries to get near top market value when they can.

Now on a local scale with larger items that can often change matters. Hassel of packaging and buyer satisfaction. Part of why I and many others prefer to take a hit on sale price for certain items than deal with far away sales.

But IMO its kinda an unfair thing to hold against a vintage stereo product. Deal find prices that is. So unless we are talking a vintage audio item like a Mitch Miller LP, its often fair to say this stuff is a scarcity of some desirable value. And should be given a fair shake in the performance per $ ratio. Say can any current speaker sold better the EPI speakers at $50?

If that wasnt you on AK sorry man. But if it was its a fair thing to add to your decision criteria IMO.
